Today is the Day!

Alright, it has begun.

There has been some confusion so I will try to make sense today. This is all you need to do.

1) Make sure you entered by sending $10 via paypal to losermoms@gmail.com

2) Weigh yourself every Wednesday. Ideally this would be at the same time each week. Please try to wear approximately the same thing each week. Every Wednesday send your progress to losermoms@gmail.com . This is on the honor system. Please don't cheat.



We will not publish your weight. We may be unusual but we are not cruel.

3) Do whatever it is you do to drop the weight.

4) Talk trash in the comments.

Okay, steps three and four are optional, but they will help you get the most out of our little contest.

We welcome guest posts and pictures but neither are required.

You can also follow us on twitter @losermoms . Our hashtag is #losermoms. If you tweet that you are participating I will follow you back and add you to our list. If I don't please DM me and I will remember.

For those of you who we have confused (and also due to popular demand) the two prizes will be as follows - 1 prize for the person who loses the most weight and 1 prize for the person who loses the largest percentage of their body weight.

I got a new scale over the weekend. It's fancyish, zeroes out all by itself. It hasn't moved since I put it on the tile floor in the bathroom.

I was 9 lbs LESS this morning than I was on Saturday. Water weight? Less-fancy-than-I-thought scale? A great omen for this contest? (Yes, I was nekkid both times.) I "started" my diet on Saturday, so I guess that is a good sign...

So confused. But optimistic.

Lost 65 lbs last year but gained every single pound back. Sick of it. Sick of the roller coaster. Time to get serious...again!

I had no idea Goddess in progress spoke French! heh

I ha ve turned in my weight. This week I am going start off watching one half hour episode a day of Judge Judy while on the elliptical. I will work myself up to The People's Court as that show is an hour.

I sat in a conference room with a GIANT plate of cookies and a GIANT platter of cheesecake all day long--the smell of the cookies was enough to make my mouth water. I resisted! But d@#$ that was hard.

I've got the diet thing in the bag...the exercise thing is a conpletely different matter.

Going to NYC and trying out a new pizza restaurant isn't going to help my diet plan, especially since said pizza had bechamel, parmesan, buffalo mozzarella, caramelized onions and lardons. Back to my tomato soup, celery, and lettuce.
