My intent is to let you know that if you've gained a few pounds in the last couple of weeks you are not alone. I have fallen off of my diet wagon. I went to Houston for the Mom 2.0 Summit and there I ate a shocking amount of queso and drank my daily recommended caloric intake each day.
BUT!
And there is a big butt.
I came home and while I still may be exceeding 1400 calories a day (fine I am exceeding 1800 calories a day) I am back on my elliptical. I am drinking my water. I am not giving up, and neither should you.
Fun things are in store for the Loser Moms. I think we have a giveaway coming up as well as a motivational guest post from a personal trainer.
Sometimes we take steps backwards and it is okay. I am still in better shape than I was when we started this thing.

Thanks, Sarah. I needed that post today. I've had a ROTTEN couple of weeks with food, and exercise has had some setbacks, too. Lots of stress eating, what with the terrible 2.5s and potty training (ack!). MUST find my way back to the wagon, but it's comforting to hear I'm not the only one who fell off.
You know the saying "feed a cold, starve a fever?" Well I have a cold.
I've had a rough couple of weeks too, and I'm not looking forward to getting on the scale tomorrow morning, but I will. And I'm not giving up. For me this is a new lifestyle and a new me. A couple of weeks in the great scheme of an entire life is not very much. Maybe I haven't lost, but I'm not giving up.
I was with Sarah this weekend. Things got so bad in the Mexican restaurant I repeatedly had to talk myself out of removing my pants-OMG the food was amazing.
But even so, I did find myself choosing smaller portions of most everything during the conference and trying to hit the fruits and veggies really hard.
Tomorrow I will know the result of the weekend. Stay tuned.
Ok, so the only way I lost weight this week is because I've had an ear infection and completely lost my appetite and my cooking mojo. But I'll take it!
